Pronto Insurance (“Pronto” or “we,” “us” and “our”) values you as a customer and takes your personal privacy seriously. This Privacy Statement applies to information you provide to us or that we collect through our website, email, phone, physical locations, and other sources (“Business Channels”).

In short:

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We share data only as necessary to deliver our services and operate our business, primarily with our affiliates and trusted service providers.

  • We maintain appropriate security measures to protect your information.

Our practices are described in more detail below.

1.    What Is the Scope of this Policy?

This Privacy Statement provides an overview of how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in the ordinary course of our business. Certain U.S. states and other jurisdictions require additional or more specific privacy disclosures. Where required by law, Pronto provides supplemental or jurisdiction-specific privacy notices that apply in addition to this Privacy Statement.

Insurance-Related Information and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

Much of the personal information Pronto collects is obtained in connection with insurance transactions and services. Information collected, used, or disclosed in connection with these activities is generally governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) and applicable state insurance privacy laws, rather than state comprehensive consumer privacy statutes. Pronto complies with GLBA and other applicable laws governing the privacy and security of insurance customer information.

Non-Insurance Information (California)

For California residents, personal information that is not subject to the GLBA may be governed by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”). To learn more about how Pronto collects, uses, and shares such information, and to review your rights under California law, please see our Notice at Collection, available here: CCPA Notice at Collection.
